This was a quick redesign of a one-page website. I was tasked to put About, Services, and Contact into different pages so their content could be highlighted more. I didn't have time to wireframe this and went straight into designing in Elementor.
More detailsA one-page website for a local building company built with WordPress and Elementor on localhost.
Role: UX designer, UX writer, WordPress Developer
Duration: June 12-15, 2025
Brief: This is an assessment from my current employer with the client brief simply being “Just make it look good — we want people to call us or fill in the form. We like blue and grey. Can you also mention we’re reliable?”
The one-page website fronts a hero banner with the company’s name and tagline with a clear call-to-action button below. The tagline includes the company’s location, which is what local customers look for first, as they’d like to hire something close to their area. I also put testimonials to capture the customer’s attention and to establish credibility. The navigation bar contains links to the following sections: Home, Services, Projects, About, Contact; and a CTA button that the customer can click to call the company. Below the testimonials and still above the fold is the “Services” section, where information is presented in tabs with a short description and a photo from Unsplash and Pexels. Right below is the “Projects” section, where I included photos the client sent alongside stock photos. I made sure to include captions and alt text for screen readers. Up next is the “About” and “Contact” section, where customers can find information on the company and how to reach it for an estimate.
I made sure the website is mobile responsive. The images are also compressed, so they load fast. I also ensured all buttons have affordance and are large enough to be clickable on a mobile device. The website’s design is primarily composed of blue and gray as the client requested. I made sure the colors I used are accessible with a rating of AAA in WCAG compliance. Its interface is clean and professional while also reflecting its rugged, no-nonsense, and honest personality.
Given the limited features of Elementor on a localhost, I would have liked to put a floating action button (FAB) to the right of the website so customers can easily click it if they’d like to call the company while scrolling and exploring the site. I also would have maximized the scroll animation features and the contact form of Elementor (I installed a plugin instead). Given ample time and resources, I would have also liked to use/design a better logo for the company and I believe it’s important to test the usability of the design and A/B test copies.

The Design Language is a glossary for tone of voice, labels, terms, CTAs, and everything copy-related for GlobeOne app and Globe product websites.

I served as the only UX writer for Globe Telecom’s GlobeOne app and online channels that serve mobile and broadband customers.
As part of the Product Experience Strategy & Design team, I created its Design Language, a glossary for tone of voice, labels, terms, CTAs, and everything copy-related for GlobeOne app and Globe product websites.
Aside from the Design Language, I also created copy templates for quick copywriting and consistency across the platforms and also helped in creating microcopy for the app's newest and future features.
All of these were used to create a GPT that would help the team write copy in the nick of time.
